An Embodied Philosophy of Human Action
5

Anchor reflection in action and gain meaning.

A meaningful orientation in the world must take into account the struggles we encounter when we start to act in the world. We consider the Western dramatic canon as a powerful cultural expression and heritage of that insight. We palpate the great questions that we find in its texts in an ongoing feedback process between reflection and all the physicalities of play. This integrates the thought and the deed and allows for an emergence of meaning at the place where the pursuit of a dream leads to the making of a surprising experience.
